working hard and playing hard
Chris Stanbury, founder and Managing Director of Cravenplan is a passionate supporter of local life, and very active in the business community. He is ex-chairman of Ambassadors and the Wiltshire Rural Business Club and attends the Chamber of Commerce and North Dorset Business Club meetings. He also undertakes work as an expert witness.
In his free time, he enjoys going on road trips on his motorbike and is also an advanced motorcycling instructor. He loves all types of music, taking photos (you’ll see him every year at the Larmer Tree Festival) and wearing unusual hats. At home he enjoys watching movies with friends and entertaining.
He's recently taken an even more active interest in the movies by supporting and taking a minor role in a new movie "Five greedy bankers" being filmed in the area (including some scenes being filmed at Wilbury Barn!).
In a philanthropic move he became chairman of the South Wiltshire Support Group for Hope and Homes for Children, a local charity that he has supported for many years.
